How are we going to work:

  • Using a previously chosen symmetric object you will build a plaster mold of a single block. You will split this mold in the middle, obtaining a two-part mold, with the seams lines barely visible
  • You will make a three-part mold from a more complex prototype (we will provide you a variety of objects to choose from)
  • You will work with porcelain slips – white and colored slip castings. Learn to make alterations in the pieces obtained from the molds as ad ons, perforations, etc.
  • A few days after the workshop, we will glaze and fire your pieces and we will give you a note to come and pick them up. If you don’t leave in Barcelona, we will wrap and ship them to you. Please consider this as an additional cost dependent upon your home location.
