Ember is the first piece in my Pulsation series, an ongoing sculptural exploration of rhythm, emergence and the invisible forces that precede transformation.
Built from 11 individual stoneware modules, the work embraces its own construction. Rather than concealing the joining lines, they become part of the visual language of the piece, contributing to its rhythm and movement.
The modular approach allows me to work on a larger scale while simplifying transportation and installation, making the work adaptable to different environments.
More than a representation of movement, Ember focuses on the moment before: when intention, potential and possibility coexist in a state of quiet tension.
A small beginning that already contains countless futures.
