Sculptural set · unique piece
Two autonomous forms converse until they seem to visually pass through each other. The contour of one is projected onto the other, generating an illusion of transparency and a subtle tension between separation and bond.
Hand-modelled in refractory stoneware and fired at 1250 °C, the sculptures establish a contrast between the matte terracotta tone and the luminous white. This chromatic difference reinforces the perception of layers and underscores the feeling that both forms share a common internal structure beneath distinct surfaces.
Rather than representing two bodies, the work suggests the coexistence of two presences dwelling under the same symbolic skin. A silent reflection on limits, relationship, and that which remains invisible yet essential.
Unique piece.
